School groups

Your group's hoodie or jacket, sorted together

For a year level, a leavers group, a sports team, a house, an ensemble or your staff. One person sets it up, the group has a say in the design, and everyone orders and pays for their own. The finished garments arrive at school in one delivery.

How a group order works

A school admin, a staff member TrackEd has set up for your school, creates the group. Any school admin at your school can help run it. They build the design, invite the group and set a deadline. Your TrackEd sales rep can help with the setup.

Members join from an invite link, choose their size, add their name or nickname if the design has one, and pay. When the deadline passes, orders lock. The school admin submits one order for the whole group, the maker produces it, and it ships straight to your school.

When to start

Everything is made to order, and production only begins once your group submits. So the date that matters is your deadline, not the day you open orders. The simplest way to plan is to work backwards from the day you want to be wearing them.

  1. Pick your wear-by date. It might be a camp, a sports carnival or simply the start of a term. Write it down.
  2. Take off the make and deliver time. Every product shows an estimate in weeks, counted from the day your order is submitted. It covers production, freight to your school and a short buffer for our checks. Plan with the top end of the range.
  3. Take off time to agree a design and collect orders. Allow at least 2 weeks. Give it longer if you're running a vote between designs, or if someone at school needs to agree to the crest being used.
  4. Leave some spare. Add another 2 weeks or so for school holidays, exam blocks and the student who forgets to pay.

Pullover hoodie4 to 6 weeks from submission
Zip hoodie4 to 6 weeks from submission

A worked example

Say your group picks the pullover hoodie, which shows 4 to 6 weeks from submission. Plan with 6 weeks, add 2 weeks for the design and orders, then 2 weeks spare. That means starting at least 10 weeks before your wear-by date.

Getting the school on board

Talk to the staff member in charge of your group, such as a year coordinator or coach, before you start. The approval step below is there so the school stays in control of what goes out with its name on it.

Every group is run by your school's admins, who are staff. They decide on the design, confirm the school crest or logo can be used, and check the full list of names and nicknames before anything goes to the maker. Nothing is submitted without them.

Anyone who uploads a logo confirms they have permission to use it. Every nickname is also screened for offensive words, and the school admin sees the full list before it's sent.

Paying

Each student pays for their own garment when they order, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. A student can also send a payment link to a parent or guardian. If your school would rather pay for the whole group, the school admin can choose that during setup.

The price per garment depends on how many your group orders. When orders open, the school admin sets an estimated quantity, and that fixes the price band. If the final count ends up lower, the school admin can extend the deadline, ask for a small top-up or talk to us. Prices include GST and there are no card surcharges.

Students can change or cancel their order until it locks. A paid order cancelled before the lock is refunded to the card that paid for it.

Delivery to school

The maker ships the whole order to your school in one delivery. Each garment is bagged and labelled with the student's name, design and size, and the school admin gets a packing list to hand them out.

If anything is wrong, the school admin can report it with photos within 14 days of delivery. We sort it out with the maker and arrange a remake, refund or credit. See delivery and returns for the details.
